If you give a mom leftover birthday cake, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
she’ll want a glass of milk to go with it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When she opens the cupboard to get a glass,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
she’ll realize she forgot to run the dishwasher.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After she starts the dishwasher, she’ll add dishwasher detergent to the grocery list.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which reminds her –⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She’s supposed to pick up her grocery order this morning.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When everyone is ready to get in the van, the baby will need a diaper change.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When she finally gets in the van, she’ll see that it needs more gas.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With the van loaded up with groceries and gas, she’ll decide she needs fuel, too.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She’ll get in the drive-through line for coffee.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When she gets home, she’ll set her iced latte down to unload groceries and forget about it for several hours.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At lunch time, she’ll open the fridge and notice there’s hardly any milk left.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She’ll add it to the grocery list, underneath “dishwasher detergent.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thinking about the milk will make her thirsty.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She’ll remember her latte and take a swig.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And chances are, if she’s drinking (mostly) milk, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She’ll want some leftover birthday cake to go with it.
